There is no obligation to donate.
Fantasy College Hockey (“FCH”) is an Internet based game that is not for profit, and is not affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association or to any member institution. FCH is based in the United States of America, Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is accessible via www.fantasycollegehockey.com, www.fantasycollegehockey.net and www.fantasycollegehockey.org on the Internet.
A mechanism is provided for participants to provide donations over the Internet solely for the purpose of recouping operating costs.
Fantasy College Hockey’s operating costs are as follows, annually:

Participants or members of the public may donate at their sole discretion. No fee is required to participate in the game. Donations will not affect players’ participation in the game and will not receive preferential treatment in any way from the web master.
Donations are collected via PayPal.com, a third-party provider. PayPal.com may deduct fees from donations as per its policy. Any net donations (after PayPal fees) received in excess of the total above on an annual basis will be donated to the American Red Cross, New England region, by the web master. Donations to FCH are not tax-deductible. If net donations do not reach $56.99, the difference will be borne by the web master as a personal expense. The web master does not collect fees for services related to the design, development, or other services related to the maintenance, development or growth of FCH. FCH’s fiscal year will begin on January 1 of each year and close on December 31.
In addition, FCH participants are encouraged to subscribe to USCHO Extra, a subscription service of US College Hockey Online (USCHO.com), which provides a community of hockey fans and a message board on which to communicate.
FCH reserves the right to select its participants based on its sole discretion and no right of participation is implied or granted, regardless of whether or not the participant donates.
This policy may be changed at the sole discretion of the owners of Fantasy College Hockey at any time and without notice. This policy shall be subject to the laws of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
